A spectacular sign that indicates support of the Dutch team from above?

Last night on our way to Brazil in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. As we're about to cross the Equator and the lights of the city of Fortaleza are already glowing on the horizon, a huge and massive orange (!) colored meteorite burned over Brazil, illuminating the sky brightly for about one and a half seconds.
I was trying to capture the Milkyway and this came as a perfect gift. Quality is not that good, but I thought it was worth sharing.
