Production time
All prints are made to order, meaning the production starts after the order has been placed.
Time between order and shipment is usually between five and ten working days for prints, up to four weeks for print with exclusive frame.
Cadillac of the Skies
The P-51 Mustang is one of the most famous fighters of World War Two and a frequent guest to many present day airshows.
Designed and built in 120 days, the prototype was first flown in 1940 and steadily evolved into the legendary D-model that became the most widely produced version.
This plane featured in many Hollywood movies, but I still remember the first time I saw the powerful scene at the end of the 1987 Spielberg movie 'Empire of the Sun'. A young Christian Bale excitedly cheering when a couple of Mustangs strafe his prison camp, signaling the end of the war for him.
“Cadillac of the skies!” he shouts, exchanging waves with the low-flying pilots.
If I ever win the lottery, I'll buy my own Mustang.
