About Christiaan van Heijst

Christiaan is a Dutch 747 captain with over 10,000 flying hours and twenty years of flying experience.
Next to his career as an aviator, he is an award-winning photographer, mostly known for his aerial photography from the flight deck.

Documenting and sharing the world from above is his biggest drive for photography, convinced that every person should see and enjoy the breathtaking views and wonders he experiences when aloft.
