Growth of a storm
Dodging heavy weather over the South Chinese Sea. A massive thunderstorm is growing far above our heads while many smaller convective clouds build up towards constantly higher altitudes at its base.
It is this kind of weather we have to try to avoid at all costs, circumnavigating around the most active parts and trying to find our way around one way or another.
Nonetheless, it makes for some stunning photography.
