Background story

Hindu Kush in winter

Navigating over the inhospitable and barren Hindu Kush mountains of Afghanistan.
Snow, ice and peaks for as far as the eye can see.
It was a sight I enjoyed for hours on end every day when I was flying my Fokker 50 during those adventures in Afghanistan. A shot taken in 2008 when flying my Fokker 50 back to Kabul.

The early start of my flying career was like being dropped in the deep; flying those domestic flights in Afghanistan was not for the faint hearted and a steep learning curve was necessary to live another day.
Flying over these hostile landscapes was not without risk, but the views were second to none.
The few times I dream about flying I find myself back over Afghanistan again, floating among it's peaks.

A country that holds a thousand untold stories and keeps it's mysteries for itself.

My mission

Sharing the wonders from my cockpit

My unique perspective as a pilot allows me to share the poetic nature of flight and show the incredible beauty of our delicate planet from above
